visa applications in Australia need to submit online using their ImmiAccount. The
amount for the visa application should also be paid online through ImmiAccount
only. The paper applications are no longer accepted for this type of visas.
Other Family
visas:
The applications associated with ‘Other
Family visas’ in Australia should be sent either by post or courier services to
the Visa and Citizenship Office located in Perth. The applications will no
longer be accepted if anyone applies through the current foreign offices or
contracted Service Delivery Partners. They mainly include the following:
Carer (Subclass 116 and 836) visas,
Remaining Relative (subclass 115 and
835) visas and
Aged Dependent Relative (Subclass 117
and 838) visas.
However, the Application and
Sponsorship for ‘Other Family visas’ can be accessed on the Home Affairs
website. The amount to be paid for visa application can be completed online
using the ImmiAccount. Currently, lodging applications online is not available
for ‘Other Family visas’ in Australia. Hence, the completed forms should be
sent to the processing office located in Perth only. Meanwhile, the incomplete
or pending applications that are lodged at the present foreign offices are
transferred to the Perth processing office in Australia. Once the applications
are transferred, a notification will be sent to the desired applicants.
Parent visa
applications:
The candidates who desire to apply
for Parent visa (Subclasses 103, 804, 173, 143, 884, and 864) should send their
completed visa applications to the Perth Visa and Citizenship office in Australia
either through post or courier services. Lodging a Parent visa application personally
is no longer accepted.
